Your storefront’s menus are built on the Website surface (under Storefront → Website), where they sit alongside the pages they link to. The sidebar shows the site as a tree: the Header (the top navigation bar) and the Footer (links at the bottom of every page) as two stacked sections, followed by Unlinked pages, the Guest journey templates, and the site-wide Layout bars.

The menu tree

Each menu is a tree of items you can drag to reorder. Clicking an item opens what it points at: a page or built-in view link opens that page’s content editor, while a group or custom URL opens its own settings. The small gear on a page or view link opens the menu entry’s settings — its label, new-tab behavior, and removal. Menus support two levels: top-level items, and items nested inside a group.

Menu item types

• Page link — points to one of your custom pages or a built-in view (Home, Properties, Blog, Wishlist, Contact). The item references the page itself, so it follows slug renames automatically — and the same page can be linked from several places, header and footer at once.
• Custom URL — an internal path (e.g. /about) or any external website address.
• Group — a dropdown that contains other items. Groups can be one level deep only — you can’t nest a group inside a group.

Add items with the Add button (choose Page link, Custom URL, or Group). For any link you can toggle Open in new tab, typically for external URLs.

Per-language labels

Every menu item’s Label is edited per language, so your menus read correctly in each locale you’ve enabled.

Linking pages and reordering

• Below the two menus, Unlinked pages lists pages and built-in views placed in neither menu. Drag one into either tree to add it — or click it to edit its content first.
• Hover an item to reveal its drag handle, then drag to reorder within the tree or to move items in and out of a group.
• A link that also exists in the other menu shows a small marker — one page, several menu entries, all opening the same content.

Renames are safe in menus

Menu items reference pages directly (not by URL), so renaming a page’s slug updates every menu link automatically. Only Custom URL items store a raw path as text — those you maintain yourself. A menu link to a draft page is kept in the editor but hidden from visitors until the page is published.

Fallback navigation

If you haven’t configured any menu items, the storefront falls back to automatic navigation based on your top-level places, so guests can still get around while you build your menus.
