Add-ons
Add-ons are extras a guest can book alongside the stay — a cleaning fee, breakfast, an airport transfer, bike rental. You define them per listing on the Add-ons section of the listing detail view.
Creating an add-on
Section titled “Creating an add-on”Click Create and fill in:
- Name — what the guest sees (per language).
- Description — an optional longer explanation (per language).
- Price — the amount, in your tenant currency.
- Pricing type — how the price is applied:
- Per stay — a single flat charge for the whole booking.
- Per day — multiplied by the number of nights.
- Per guest — multiplied by the number of guests.
- Per guest per day — multiplied by guests and nights.
- Per unit — the guest chooses a quantity (up to an optional maximum).
- Mandatory — when on, the add-on is always applied and the guest can’t opt out (use it for unavoidable charges like a compulsory cleaning fee). When off, it’s optional at checkout.
- Maximum quantity — only for per unit add-ons; caps how many the guest can select.
- Tax category — whether the add-on is taxed as accommodation or as a service, which affects how it’s handled on invoices. See Taxes.
Where guests see them
Section titled “Where guests see them”Optional add-ons appear during checkout on the storefront, where guests choose the ones they want (and a quantity, for per‑unit add-ons). Mandatory add-ons are added automatically. Selected add-ons carry through to the booking total, payments and the guest’s invoice.
Editing and removing
Section titled “Editing and removing”Select any add-on in the table to edit it, or use Delete to remove it. Changes apply to future bookings; add-ons already attached to existing bookings are unaffected.
