Prices and seasonal periods
Reynt does not use a single base price with multipliers. Instead, each listing has a list of price periods, and every period carries an absolute rate per night. When a guest picks dates, Reynt looks up the period that covers each night and charges that rate.
Open a listing and select the Prices tab to manage them.
Price periods
Section titled “Price periods”Click Create to add a period. Each one has:
- Season name — optional label (e.g. “High season”), shown in the price breakdown.
- Period — the date range the rate applies to.
- Price per night — the nightly rate, in the listing’s currency.
- Valid from — see scheduling a price change below.
Recurring vs. year-specific
Section titled “Recurring vs. year-specific”The Recurring switch decides whether the period repeats every year:
- Recurring (on) — pick a start and end day and month with no year. The period applies every year and is tagged Every year in the table. This is the default and covers most pricing. A recurring range whose end falls before its start simply wraps into the following year (e.g. 1 October – 31 March).
- Recurring (off) — pick concrete calendar dates, so the period applies to one year only (tagged e.g. “2026 only”). If the range crosses a year boundary, both ends keep their year (e.g. “2026–2027 only”) — useful for a specific Christmas/New-Year window.
Per-guest-count prices
Section titled “Per-guest-count prices”Turn on Custom prices per guest count to charge a different nightly rate depending on how many guests book — for example a lower rate for 2 guests than for the listing’s maximum. Leave a guest count blank to fall back to the period’s price.
How the nightly rate resolves
Section titled “How the nightly rate resolves”For each night of a stay, Reynt finds the price period covering that night. When periods overlap, three rules decide which one wins:
- Year-specific beats recurring — a period set for a specific year always overrides a recurring one for the same dates.
- Most recently effective wins — a period with a later Valid from date takes priority.
- Narrower beats broader — a short summer window overrides a year-round period in the days they share.
Use the Price Tester at the bottom of the tab to pick any date and confirm which period (and rate) Reynt will apply.
Scheduling a change
Section titled “Scheduling a change”On a recurring period, Valid from lets you schedule a rate change without disturbing existing quotes: the new price only applies to nights on or after that date. Set up next year’s higher rate today, and current bookings keep the old rate.
Listing currency
Section titled “Listing currency”By default a listing prices in the tenant’s default currency. The Currency card on the Prices tab overrides it per listing (EUR, USD, CHF or GBP) — handy for a cross-border portfolio. Leave it on Inherit tenant default unless the property genuinely prices in another currency.
The “from” price on the storefront
Section titled “The “from” price on the storefront”Search cards and listing pages show a single lead price derived from these periods. How it’s derived is a storefront-wide setting under Storefront → Appearance → Listing Display → Lead Price Aggregation:
- Average nightly rate (Ø) — the average across the year’s periods.
- Cheapest rate (from …) — the lowest period rate.
This choice also drives what the storefront price filter and price sorting compare against.

Section titled “Related”- Stay rules — minimum/maximum nights and arrival/departure limits.
