Members & roles

Your tenant is a shared workspace. Everyone who works on it has their own login, so you can see who did what and remove access when someone leaves. You manage the team from Settings → Members.

Only admins can see and open Members — it doesn’t appear in Settings for anyone else, and opening the link directly bounces a Member or Viewer back to the dashboard.

Members has two parts:

  • Members — everyone with access to this organisation, showing their name, email, role, and when they joined.
  • Invitations — invites you’ve sent that haven’t been accepted yet. This section only appears once there’s at least one pending invite; once someone accepts, they move to the Members list automatically.

Click Invite Member, then enter:

  • Email — the person’s email address.
  • RoleAdmin, Member, or Viewer (defaults to Member).

Submit, and Reynt sends them an invitation email. When they accept, they set up their own login and appear in the Members list. If the email already belongs to a member you’ll get an “already a member” message.

Reynt uses three roles. The line between them is simple: Member runs the business day to day; Admin also controls the account.

  • Admin — full access to everything: listings, bookings, invoices, payments, the storefront, all settings, plus inviting members, changing roles, and minting API keys.
  • Member — everything needed to run daily operations: create and manage bookings, listings, customers, invoices, and the storefront/content catalog. A Member can’t change tenant-wide settings (Settings stays read-only), can’t invite or manage teammates, and can’t permanently delete a booking — only archive it. Owner records (banking and tax details) are read/update only, not create/delete.
  • Viewer — read-only access everywhere, including Settings. No creating, editing, or deleting anything, and no access to the team. A good fit for an accountant, a passive co-owner, or anyone who just needs visibility.

Grant Admin sparingly — to the people who should be able to change how the account itself is configured and who has access to it.

In the Members table:

  • Change a role — use the role dropdown on that person’s row. The change applies immediately.
  • Remove a member — click the remove (trash) icon and confirm. Their access ends at once.

You can’t remove yourself — the remove button is disabled on your own row. Reynt also always keeps at least one admin: trying to demote or remove the tenant’s last admin is refused with an error, so a tenant can never lock itself out of its own settings and team.

Roles control what you can do inside a tenant. How you personally sign in — password, two-factor, passkeys, active sessions — lives on your Account page and is managed through the secure identity portal.
