Listings overview
A listing is a single bookable property. It’s the record everything else hangs off — bookings, pricing, availability, images and storefront pages all reference a listing. You manage them under Listings.
The listing detail view
Section titled “The listing detail view”Opening a listing takes you to its detail view, a single page with a left‑hand section menu. There is no separate “edit” screen — every section edits in place and saves independently. The sections are:
- Overview — a dashboard: booking stats, occupancy, upcoming check‑ins, calendar‑sync status and quick actions.
- Texts — title, listing key, excerpt and full description (per language). See Content and media.
- Property Facts — property type, capacity, rooms, stay limits, pets, cancellation policy and visibility flags.
- Images — upload, reorder, set the cover and add labels.
- SEO — search title and meta description with a live preview.
- Prices, Discounts, Fees, Add-ons, Pricing Info — everything money. See Pricing and Add-ons.
- Amenities, Attributes, Tags, Distances — what the property offers and how it’s filtered. See Amenities, attributes and tags.
- Location — place, coordinates and address.
- Owner — the property owner (marketplace mode only).
- Check-in — check‑in and check‑out times.
- Calendar and Unavailability — availability at a glance and blocked periods. See Availability.
- External Calendars — iCal sync with other channels. See iCal sync.
- Delete listing — permanently remove the listing.
The listing key
Section titled “The listing key”Every listing has a key — a short, URL‑friendly identifier (letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores). It’s the listing’s stable handle: it forms part of its storefront web address and is how you recognise it in lists. You set it on the Texts section, where the console checks in real time that the key isn’t already used by another listing. Change it later if you need to, but be aware existing links to the old address will break.
The completeness ring
Section titled “The completeness ring”While you build out a listing, a completeness indicator tracks how filled‑out it is. It scores every field — from the critical ones down to the nice‑to‑haves — into a single percentage and a readiness level:
- Draft — one or more critical items are still missing, so the listing can’t go live yet.
- Ready — all critical items are in place; some recommended polish is still missing.
- Complete — every recommended item is filled in too (100% also ticks off the nice‑to‑haves).
The checklist groups what’s still missing into three tiers:
- Critical — at least one image, a designated cover image, and at least one price. In marketplace mode an assigned owner is critical too. These gate publishing.
- Recommended — property type, a description and excerpt, country and full address, map coordinates, an assigned place, and five or more images.
- Nice to have — bedrooms, bathrooms, living space, amenities, tags, and SEO title and description.
Map coordinates are a special case: on tenants with map search enabled (a map tile key is configured under Settings → Storefront), missing coordinates count as critical — the listing shows as Draft and can’t be newly published until they’re set. A listing that is already live stays visible, but without coordinates it drops out of the results as soon as a guest moves the storefront map (see Search & maps).
Each missing item links to the section that fixes it, so you can work down the list. A listing can only be published once it reaches Ready — see Publishing and visibility.
