Content generation and translation

Once AI is connected (see AI overview), content generation shows up right where you write — on the fields themselves and in a few guided dialogs. Everything AI produces is shown to you for review before it’s saved. You can also launch listing field generation and storefront page-section generation (or edits) by simply asking the AI assistant.

Translatable fields — a listing title, description, SEO text, and so on — carry a small AI button. Depending on your languages it offers:

  • Generate content — write this field with AI in every language at once.
  • Translate missing languages — translate the text you’ve already written into the languages still empty.

After generating, a preview shows the result per language. Accept to write the values into the field, or Dismiss to discard them — nothing is saved until you accept.

The same AI menu carries the writing-style dials for the next run:

  • Tone — Warm, Professional or Playful. It starts on the voice you set under Settings → AI; picking here changes this one generation, not the setting.
  • Length — Short, Standard or Detailed, on the free-form texts only (description, amenities, guest info, price and discount texts).

Both dials appear only on the fields they actually change. A title, an SEO title or a blog meta title shows neither: those are short, keyword-led labels with a hard character budget — a listing title has roughly one line on the card, an SEO title 50-60 characters in Google — so their own rules decide the wording, and a voice preset would only push filler adjectives into a line that has no room for them. Excerpts and meta descriptions are full sentences, so they do take a tone; their character budget still holds.

On a field with per-language tabs, the Translate missing languages action takes a language you’ve already filled in as the source and translates it into the empty tabs, preserving formatting in rich-text fields. It’s the fastest way to fan one language out to the rest.

For a larger pass, the listing field-generation dialog lets you pick which fields to generate and how:

  • Generate content in — choose the languages. Your default language is always generated; the others are produced from it.
  • Mode:
    • Translate from default — generate once in the default language, then translate. Cheaper.
    • Native per language — generate each language independently for the best tone, at higher cost.

The run shows progress, and the result opens with a tab per language so you can review — and edit — each language before applying. Selected fields are applied in every generated language, so check each tab first.

The same review-before-save pattern applies to the bigger workflows:

  • Pages and blog posts — generate a full set of content sections, then review before applying.
  • Catalog, canned responses, referrer options — generate a tailored starting set you can edit.
  • Every missing translation — the Translations page fills all outstanding translations in one pass, with a review modal where you deselect anything you don’t want.

To create a listing from an existing source rather than field by field, use AI import — paste a URL, text, or PDF, or upload photos, and AI drafts the entire listing (in all your languages) for you to review and publish. See Create a listing.
