Reynt exists because one landlord stopped wanting to pay commission.
No business plan, no market window. A client wanted to rent out her properties through her own website instead of handing a portal a cut of every booking. What was built for her is Reynt today.
How it started
Daniel Hartmann worked as a developer across several industries before a client turned up with a very concrete brief: a rental platform that belongs to her. Her own domain, her own brand, her own guest data — and nobody taking a share of every booking.
That brief turned out to be bigger than a client project. Booking flows, payments, invoices with correct VAT, calendar sync, multilingual content — that is not a website, it is an operating system for a rental business. Work on it started in early 2025.
Which is why "no commission" is on every page. It is not a positioning I came up with. It was the requirement.
A small team
Reynt is not a corporation. When you write, I answer. Website, copy and marketing come from a small team in the background that does not appear by name — the software and the support run through me.

Daniel Hartmann
Founder and developer
Writes every line of Reynt — backend, console, booking site, billing. Contact support and you are talking to the person who wrote the code in question: no handover, no waiting while someone asks an engineering department.
Website and copy
A small team in the background
The look, the words and the marketing — everything you read about Reynt before you write. Deliberately not named: what you buy is the software and the support, and both have a face.
Where I stand
The current state, unrounded. I would rather write it down than have you guess.
Early 2025
Development started
Built on continuously ever since — not on the side, but as the only product.
Small
Team
Development and support in one pair of hands, website and copy from a small team in the background. No layer in between.
100%
Self-funded
No investor, no exit pressure, nobody pushing me toward a price rise or a sale.
Stuttgart
Based in
Built in Germany, run in EU data centres. "At home in Europe" is meant literally.
Who works with Reynt today
Fewo Bach and Bergzeitliebe — live every day, with real guests and real money. Come on board now and you are among the first: your requirements reach the person who writes the software without a detour.

What that means for you
You talk to a person, not to tier one
No ticket queue with someone who knows the product waiting at the end of it. The developer is the support.
I tell you what it cannot do
Reynt is not a channel manager and it will not bring you new guests. That is in the FAQ on the homepage, because you should know it beforehand and not afterwards.
Your data stays yours
Full export at any time, a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR, hosted in the EU. If Reynt turns out not to fit, you can leave.
Small on purpose
A small team, self-funded, since 2025 — short paths come built in. You talk to the developer directly, and your request goes into the plan instead of a backlog three layers away. Reynt is built for hosts who want exactly that: one person who knows the product, rather than a vendor with a hundred employees.
